Getting started, the basics:
- Materials
Do you want your piece done in paper, canvas or glass?
Do you want it done in charcoal, ink, acrylics or oils?
Do you want to add pressed flowers?
What size?
Do you want it framed? (Note: vintage frames limit size and material options, ask for current inventory)
- Good quality photo reference
I work exclusively from observation. This means I do not create from imagination. You will need to provide a few good quality photos for me to create from. The better the photos you supply, the better the outcome
- Inspiration ideas and color palette
Having a visual of the general idea of what you want will help me understand what you’re looking for. I suggest looking through my portfolio and focusing specifically on what materials, style, poses and colors you prefer
How long will it take?
Please estimate about a month for completion
Shipping, pick-up, delivery
I am based in the Twin Cities, MN. We can arrange free pick up. Additional fee for delivery. If shipped, costs including shipping materials will be covered by client
How much will it cost?
All commission work starts at a base of $350 no matter media or size. Commission prices are more expensive because it considers a lot more factors and time. Prices vary depending on project and materials, see below for rough estimates. Tax will be calculated and included at the moment of giving an estimate
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept payments through an online invoice, card, cash or Venmo - no checks. I ask for 50% of payment in advance and due balance upon completion. I am able to do payment plans and am willing to accept trades depending on the offer
